This is a poem written by my student about me and published in the newspaper THE HIMALAYAN TIMES, Kathmandu, Nepal. Dear Saswat, this is an award for me from Nepal. My blessings are always with you. Lots of love.
When I began your class I think I knew
the breed of challenges you'd make me face.
You gave me inspiration to pursue
the best and to reject the commonplace.
Your philosophy really opened up my mind
With knowledge, approach and elegance you made me see.
You're smart and practical and friendly;
That I'd choose to seek, I'd surely falter on;
you tremble me out of my complacency.
I thank you now for everything
You've done and given me as useful positive note
what you've taught me I will not outgrow
And will remember ever and always
your kind attention touched my wits and heart;
in many ways that you will never make out.
I know that you will remain the same
and will never ever be changed for anyone else
I will remember you my whole life through;
I wish that all my teachers were like you.
Sir, Thank you so much once again for everything.
